National e-Commerce Portal (eTijarat) has been designed, developed and deployed by Acrux Technologies for the Ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan. This portal was launched by the Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Imran Khan on 21st February, 2022 during the National e-Commerce Convention held at Islamabad.
This portal serves as a one window information and facilitation platform that provides all e-Commerce related Government regulations, procedures, trends and updates at one place. The portal provides comprehensive information of nine distinct yet important areas of e-Commerce in Pakistan, which are:
eTijarat portal also has a Digital Library containing of e-Commerce related videos, tutorials and other important information.
eTijarat portal provides inspirational success stories of Pakistani e-Commerce startups and entrepreneurs like bookme.pk, Digital Khata, Sada Pay, Tajir, Sehat Kahani etc.
eTijarat has number of other useful features, such as:
Digital Space
- Digital Space gives the private sector access to the National e-Commerce Council (NeCC) to share the challenges they face with respect to government regulations and procedures so that the NeCC may take immediate actions to resolve them.
- Users can register for upcoming digital space events and invitations are then sent through email to all the subscribed users.
Business Directory
- In Business Directory, profiles of all the businesses that are registered with the eTijarat portal are listed and can be searched and filtered through various criteria.
